Gala Networks Europe is a publisher of free massively multiplayer online games through the gPotato gaming portal. We currently have a vacancy in the marketing team for a talented marketer, working in a dynamic multinational team and marketing our games across the four corners of Europe. The position is in Dublin, Ireland.
The role covers a broad an interesting spectrum of activities including market research and analysis, online and offline advertising, PR/communications, viral marketing and social media initiatives and occasional event management at industry events. The role requires someone with experience supporting search marketing campaigns and the ideal candidate will have experience with both affiliate platforms and CPA campaigns.
The ideal candidate is comfortable with all major Office packages, media relations, online advertising platforms and social media websites. They will preferably have a background in the computer games, music or film industry, or be a quick learner with a passion for the marketing of computer games or other digital products to a diverse European audience.

Quick description of the position:
- Supporting the marketing team in both developing and executing online and offline marketing initiatives, and assisting in the execution of these initiatives through to completion.
- Working closely with external partners to integrate GNE content in their networks, drive specific programs and promotions and to develop a strong contact network across Europe
- Analysis of marketing campaigns and generation of reports
- Assist the marketing team increase ROI through optimization of marketing campaigns and SEO
- Drafting press releases and associated assets for distribution to the press.
- Working with a wide variety of online, offline and social media partners
Position Requirements
- Fluent English speaker
- Bachelor's degree in business or marketing (or equivalent)
- 2+ years of experience in a Marketing and /or Communication related field
- Excellent understanding of the online creative production and delivery process
- Knowledge and experience of web 2.0 / social media
- Knowledge of the MMORPG and/or Free to Play online games preferable
- Experience of working in the games, music, film or new media industries (or similar fast-paced environments) would be a distinct advantage
- Microsoft Word/Excel knowledge essential
- Well organized, able to prioritize and accomplish tasks without supervision
- Strong analytical and creative skills
- Multilingual skills a plus
